Unlike my dollmaking, I’m not very good at website making so I hope you’ll bear with me if it’s not looking like a top professional website. I specialize in making porcelain Portrait dolls made from photos and have received many international awards for doll design. This Site includes information about how porcelain dolls are made with emphasis on the making of portrait dolls There are lots of doll images to look at and portrait images to compare with the original child photos.  There are a few fantasy figures and some dressed sculptures included. In recent years I’ve also been designing dolls for the home shopping television channels. I started doing this because the cost of living increased and people had less money to spend on the joys of life although there was even more need for something to brighten up one’s every day living. The dolls sold on television are my designs but are not made by me. The price is therefore much less than the original Artist Signature Edition Dolls which are designed and made purely by me. I also do not sell these home shopping dolls, they are sold only by the respective television channels. My agency, Blackall Associates inc. also handles my reproduction dolls.
